Privacy policy

This policy explains what the PinTrade Android app ("PinTrade", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account: when you sign in, your email address, name and a user ID from Firebase Authentication (Google).
- What you create: pin photos, pin details, hashtags, your lanyard, trades, likes, follows and Pin Coin balance.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report with your device model, Android version, app version and an installation ID.
We don't collect your location or contacts, we don't show ads, and we don't sell your data.
How we use it
To run the app: your account, your pins and lanyard, trades, and fixing crashes.
What others can see
Your profile, the pins on your lanyard and your public activity (such as likes and follows) are visible to other PinTrade users.
Where it's stored
Our service providers store and process data for us in the United States: Google Cloud and Firebase (servers, sign-in, crash reports), Neon (database) and Cloudflare (photo storage and delivery).
Deleting your data
Email support@pintrade.app from your account's email address to delete your account. We delete your account, pins and photos within 30 days. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
Children
PinTrade is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page when the app changes what it collects, and change the date above.
